POWER TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE – REPUBLIC BANK STAFF SUPPORT COMMUNITIES

Staff of Republic Bank Ghana Limited have donated various items to support various institutions within communities the Bank operates. The donations were made through voluntary contributions by various teams within the Bank as part of the Bank’s Power-to-Make-a-Difference (PMAD) initiative.

Juabeso Branch

The Juabeso Branch of Republic Bank donated learning materials to six schools within Juaboso and its neighboring towns. The beneficiary schools are Antobia DA Primary schools A & B, Antobia DA Junior High School and Juaboso JHS A, B and C. The Bank’s delegation was led by the Branch Manager of the Juaboso Branch, Jones Mensah. Also present at the handing over ceremony were some staff of the Juaboso Branch of Republic Bank.

 

Audit Department

The Internal Audit department of Republic Bank visited the Ankaful Leprosarium and Ankaful Prisons all in the Central Region of Ghana and donated medical accessories, toiletries and other consumables. The Audit team was led by the head of the Internal Audit of the Bank, Mr. Joseph L. Ashong.

The Power to Make a Difference is a Republic Financial Holdings Initiative built on 4 pillars; the Power to Care, the Power to Help, the Power to Learn and the Power to Succeed. Republic Bank is committed to helping struggling communities to enhance their own quality of life and that of future generations.  Over the last couple of years, staff of Republic Bank through voluntary contribution, have built an ultra-modern classroom block and mechanized borehole for the people of Manchie in the Amansaman District of the Greater Accra Region.  The Staff also bought an incubator for the Keta Municipal Hospital and made donations to various hospitals and orphanages across the country.
