Republic Bank Ghana Strengthens Commitment to Tackling Housing Deficit Through Strategic Partnership with State Housing Company Limited

Accra, Ghana – December 16, 2025 – Republic Bank (Ghana) PLC has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the State Housing Company Limited (SHC) to provide tailored mortgage financing to SHC customers and Ghanaians seeking quality, affordable homes. This partnership will foster greater access to homeownership and contribute to long-term social stability.

The signing ceremony underscored the mutual benefits of this collaboration, bringing together leaders from both institutions to advance innovative solutions for sustainable housing development. Present for Republic Bank (Ghana) PLC were Dr. Benjamin Dzoboku, Managing Director, Mr. Venus Frith, Chief Operating Officer, Mrs. Oduraa Botchway, Company Secretary, Mr. Joseph Laryea Ashong, General Manager, Commercial and Retail Banking, Mr. Dan Adjetey Mohenu, Head of Mortgage Banking, and other senior executives. Representing State Housing Company Limited were Mr. John Sheriff Bawah, Managing Director, Rita A. Fofie (Esq), Head of Legal, Juliet Emefa Gborglah, Business Development Manager, William Kaletsi, Head, Finance, Akosua Mantebea Incoom, Mortgage Manager, and Christopher Duamroh, Sales Manager.
